Helpful Tip from the Garden Geeks: This is one of those that I just can't practice what I preach but it really is for the best. Resist the temptation to buy one of each plant you fall in love with-you'll find it difficult to combine them into a cohesive garden. It's best to choose a few out standing specimens to use singly as accents. Then buy odd numbers-threes, fives or sevens-of "backbone" plants to plant in naturalistic clumps. As I said, I know this is best but I want one of everything...I am working on this obsession though!
