Helpful Tip from the Garden Geeks: Here's a handy use for all those clippings. Shove the stems of long shrub or tree cuttings down the middle of a row of young peas. "Plant" the cuttings close together so they fan out and form a natural trellis for the climbing peas. Once you've harvested, you can chip up and compost the whole bit, leaving nothing to waste.
