Helpful Tip from the Garden Geeks: Do your fruit trees bear bushels of fruit one year and almost none the next? When fruit-bearing is sparse in alternate years, it's called biennial bearing. You may be able to break the cycle if you thin even more fruit than usual from the trees during a heavy-bearing year.
