Helpful tip from The Garden Geeks: Did you know that if you encircle a favorite bed of flowers or vegetables with garlic plants, you can protect the plants from hungry rabbits, moles, gophers, squirrels, shrews and voles? There are other plants with animal repellent properties, like spurge and fritillaria, but unlike garlic, most cannot protect other plants. Rodents wont eat the "repellent" but will eat other crops-not so with garlic plants!!
