Here is a tip for raspberry pruning. Did you know that June bearing raspberries need to have their second year canes (the ones which have borne fruit and are turning brown and dry) cut to the ground and at the same time cut back any first year canes that have yet to bear fruit to a height of about 4' (these will branch out and produce more fruit next year). To prune ever-bearing raspberries, cut all canes that have borne fruit back to 4'. Pruning should be done in early spring.
