Bloom Description: Begonia imperialis bear sparse, white flowers, to 1/2" across. Leaves are light green, 4" long, with silver green splashes along the main veins

Notes for Identification: Begonia imperialis is a rhizomatous begonia with ovate, toothed, light green leaves, 4 inches long, with silver green splashes along the main veins; the warty upper surfaces are covered with very fine hairs. Rhizomatous begonias are grown for their foliage and flowers. The need bright, filtered light with shade in summer, and an optimum range of 58 through 72f.
