Notes for Identification: Solitary cactus found in humid, moist areas in the mountains of eastern brazil. When grown indoors, grow in acidic standard cactus potting mix in full light. From mid spring to early autumn, water moderately and apply a low nitrogen liquid fertilizer every 6 to 8 weeks. Mist daily in summer.
